Description
Kreuzlingen – Tägerwilen – Ermatingen – Salenstein – Berlingen - Steckborn
The stretch from Kreuzlingen via Ermatingen to Steckborn could well be called "Royal", as several castles and fortresses mark the way. Castle Arenenberg, for instance, where Queen Hortense lived with her son, the future Napoleon III. The views of Lake Constance and the island of Reichenau are quite regal too.
