Description
Salgesch – Veyras – Sierre
On the 6-kilometer Vineyard Trail from Siders to Salgesch, you walk along vineyards, past wineries and make forays into the wild natural landscape of the Raspille Canyon. Eighty trailside markers tell about life in the vineyards and point out interesting facts about the scenic landscape and its inhabitants.
The Vineyard Trail links the Valaisian Vineyard and Wine Museums based in Siders and Salgesch. The museums document the long history of wine between tradition and passion. Tasting the fine wines of the region is well worth your while.
