Description
The hiking tour, exclusively dedicated to the local Merlot, leads from the Laveggio Plain to the slopes of Monte San Giorgio. Near Clivio you will cross the border with Italy. The hike takes you through hilly landscapes where vineyards dominate the scenery. The route meanders past a myriad of picturesque villages nestled in the hillsides of Mendrisiotto. The small town centers have maintained their great artistic heritage and are testimonies to the extensive knowledge of the region’s great masters. Culture can be explored here within the context of the landscape!
