Description
Begin this hike at the mountain station of the Rinderberg cable-car that starts out in Zweisimmen. Follow the directional signs to Gandlauenengrat. Already at the beginning, there are fantastic views. From Gandlauenengrat follow the signs that indicate Parwengen. A well-prepared high alpine trail leads one directly to the large mountain restaurant. From here, hikers can see the Fribourg and the Lake Geneva Alps to the West. Deep in the valley one can make out Schönried. Take this panorama-rich trail down to Horneggli and then on to Schönried.
