Description

The legendary Uetliberg mountain train takes guests every thirty minutes from Zürich’s main railway station to the mountaintop. The high route follows by and large the ridge and first leads up to UTO-Kulm. Artfully designed steps take you down to a wide hiking trail. The trail sometimes leads through the forest and at other times into the open with a clear view of the south. The trail wends its way past the Balderen Mountain House up to the Felsenegg mountain. Here the route travels to Buechenegg, where Restaurant Chnusperhüsli offers culinary delights. With a full stomach, hikers tackle the last four kilometers up to the Albis Pass.

The careful planning of a tour will ensure that you also derive the maximum pleasure and enjoyment from it. Please take the time to contact the local information centre and enquire about route and weather conditions before setting off. Your intended trail may be fully or partially closed, depending on the time of year and weather conditions.
