To celebrate the hundredth anniversary of the Engelberg-Gerschnialp cable railway, Titlis Rotair mountain rail has constructed a 100-meter-long suspension bridge at an altitude of 3000 meters above sea level. At this height, the “Titlis Cliff Walk” takes you over the highest suspension bridge in Europe!

Since December 2012, the Engelberg-Titlis region thus has an added attraction.Furthermore, besides Europe’s longest suspended bridge in Sattel-Hochstuckli, measuring an amazing 374 meters, central Switzerland can now proclaim having the highest lying footbridge on the continent! The shortest way to the bridge leads from the Titlis mountain station through the 140-meter underground tunnel to the Südwandfenster viewing platform, connecting the Südwandfenster with the mountain station of the "Ice-Flyer" glacier chair lift. And we don’t need to tell you that views from the just one-meter-wide rope construction to the crust of the earth 500 meters below are matchless!
