The "Parc d'Attraction du Châtelard" consists of three unusual mountain railways that take visitors to the region surrounding the artificial lake of "Lac d'Emossen". This region is an excursion destination. The cable car, which has a gradient of 87 percent, holds the world record for being the steepest two-cabin cable car. The ride in the second attraction, the Panoramic Train, which has a track gauge of only 60 centimeters, gives passengers fantastic views of the Mont Blanc mountain range. The third train, which is more like an elevator cabin, traverses a difference in altitude of 140 meters in a few minutes and takes one over the top of the dam of Lac d'Emossen.

In the summer a 2.5 hour walk leads visitors from the mountain station to a place where they can marvel at 250 million year old traces of dinosaurs.
