This grotto is run by the three Balemi sisters with a great deal of love and devotion. Their guests are treated to regional delicacies such as polenta cooked over an open fire, rabbit and pot roast. The seasonal specialities are particularly recommended.
The impressive vaulted cellar dating from the beginning of the last century is home to the Wine Museum. Visitors gain deep insights into the history and culture of Ticinese wine.
This alpine settlement that has been partly re-inhabited is situated at 1240 m on the slopes of the Piz Vogorno, between the village of Vogorno (Val Verzasca, 500 m) and the Alp Bardughè (1600 m). You can get to Alp Odro on a steep but well marked path.
