Lynx Trail

The Lynx Trail is 4km long and runs from the Leiterli mountain inn to the Wallegg mountain inn on the Betelberg. Several true replicas of lynx "dwellings" have been tucked away and hidden along the trail.

As part of the lynx research program of the western Alps, two lynxes were caught below the Betelberg cableway and tagged with transmitters in 1997.

Tschuggen Piste

Blue sky, sunshine, red cheeks and vast amounts of white gold: On the Lenk's longest piste, the Tschuggen stretch on the Betelberg, you'll never be bored.

The Tschuggen Piste at Lenk is a wonderfully diverse downhill run. This longest run in the Betelberg ski area challenges even athletic skiers with its interesting succession of forested sections and panoramic straight runs.

Wonderful high-altitude route from Gurnigel over the Leiterenpass up to the Stockhorn

The imposing Gantrisch mountain chain stretches eastwards from the Gurnigel region, ending with the mighty rocky dome of the Stockhorn. Right along this chain runs a mountain path offering magnificent views across the Bernese Alps and Lake Thun and down into the Simmental valley.
