One of the first major hotels in Thun, the Park Hotel des Bains de Bellevue was opened in the 1830s. This magnificent establishment, built in classical country mansion style, now houses a Tertianum for assisted living for the elderly.
The museum is dedicated to the cultural commemoration of the restaurant and hotel trade, as well as to food and drink culture in general. It is located in the family de Rougemont’s former living quarters in Schadau Castle in the 19th century.
Here, at one of Thun’s most original Old Town restaurants, a modern interpretation of Swiss cuisine is honestly served accompanied by select wines and personalised service.
