The ravine of the lower Grindelwald Glacier is an impressive masterpiece created by Nature. The ravine, which was once upon a time covered by the glacier, can be hiked, thanks to rock balconies and tunnels. It also attracts climbers and canyon jumpers.
The cozy, remote hut is located at 1,805 meters in the Hohgant-Seefeld nature reserve, on the border from Emmental to the Oberland, between Kemmeriboden and Habkern.
Heroes triumph here, and sometimes they also fail: The Lauberhorn Run has been the scene of all kinds of fates and emotions. At 4.5 km, it is the longest and most demanding World Cup downhill course. However, it is also suitable for experienced amateurs.
