Latuerbrunnental is framed by gigantic rock walls. In the breath taking Manier numberless waterfalls tumble into the valley. A unique landscape from a fairy tale. The ground of the valley is shady and narrow, but in Mürren the fabulous perspectives of Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau open up to the sky, distracting you from the technically demanding trails.
Lauterbrunnen with its most famous landmark, the impressive Staubbach Falls, is the gateway to one of the most spectacular valleys in Switzerland. A total of 72 waterfalls gush down into the Lauterbrunnen valley from the vertical cliff faces, some of which are several hundred metres high.
