The sculling teams that take part in the Rotsee Regatta have to row round the little lake in front of the town as fast as they can. Those more interested in the Picasso Museum can admire some of the later masterpieces, while visitors to the Glacier Garden will learn to read the signs of the last ice age. The Swiss Museum of Transport and Communication contains a wealth of information about technology and mobility and is full of exciting things to do. Lucerne at night has an atmosphere all its own and it is then that the Water Tower on the Kapell Bridge looks most impressive.
