The Wassberg (a guesthouse since 1837) is situated on a high plateau with views of Lake Greifen and the Zurich Oberland. The panoramic location, fresh country air, tranquility and beautifully maintained premises make this a pastoral idyll par excellence, just 15 minutes from Zurich. The 18 rooms furnished with many a classic item of furniture make for an interesting contrast to the rustic setting. The food served here is typically Swiss, seasonal fare, most of it organically produced and enriched with homemade condiments.
Perfect for every season - located next to the family ski lift and the beautiful cross country ski trail in the winter, and by the hiking trails and bike routes in summer. The hotel is personally managed by the Weger family, and the rooms have all been renovated in recent years. The menu is devoted to regional specialities and the cellar exclusively stocks fine Valais wines.
