Just a few minutes walk from the centre of Interlaken.
This traditional chalet-style hotel, built in 1862, has been tastefully renovated over recent years.
Charming rooms richly decorated in wood and with modern furnishings, a splendid flower garden, sauna, whirlpool and, above all, its special fondues, are all features of this comfortable hotel run by the Klopfer family.
The boutique Hotel Schlüssel cultivates an atmosphere all its own with twelve romantic rooms, a sensuous colour scheme and charming details such as free-standing bathtubs. The restaurant makes an inviting venue – whether for refined dining, a wild party or a creative seminar – and can accommodate up to about 100 guests (10 in the Hunter's Room, 20 in the Dining Room and 50 in the Ballroom). The garden cafe, the cellars and the Gourmet Shop are also warmly recommended. And the hospitality here has won prizes. The staircase and facade underwent careful restoration in 2013.
Situated in a large park on the shores of Lake Lucerne, the Hermitage stands alone, but is still very close to the busy centre of Lucerne. All the rooms, restaurants and function rooms look out onto the lake and to the mountains beyond. Guests are also welcome to relax on the loungers scattered underneath the trees in the park. "The hotel on the lake with just that little bit more" offers round-the-clock hospitality and a holiday atmosphere all year round.
