Autumnal walks in Switzerland – Wonderful high-altitude route from Gurnigel over the Leiterenpass up to the Stockhorn

The imposing Gantrisch mountain chain stretches eastwards from the Gurnigel region, ending with the mighty rocky dome of the Stockhorn. Right along this chain runs a mountain path offering magnificent views across the Bernese Alps and Lake Thun and down into the Simmental valley. The tricky section along the north face of the Stockhorn will give you a real kick of adrenalin, but the route is never dangerous. Your reward will be the unique 360 degree view from the 2,190 m high Stockhorn.
