The charming boutique hotel in typical Engadine style - dating back to the year 1728 - stands as crown-in-glory at the heart of the picturesque Guarda village. Fondly renovated by your hosts in 2011, today the hotel comprises 18 romantic rooms and suites – four of which adjacent to the hotel – pinewood lounge, cosy garden bistro, wellness oasis and meeting rooms. Local specialities and selective wines served in the tasteful restaurant – and diverse attractive all-inclusive offers available throughout the year.
The Edelweiss has grown in stature over the past three generations and is now an excellent three-star establishment. The two buildings, both of them built in traditional chalet style, command wonderful views of the mountains of the Lötschental, whether from the room balconies or from the restaurant's spacious terrace. In addition to the three-star rooms, there is also a floor with five family rooms in the cheaper, two-star category to enable even groups and families on a budget to explore the lovely Lötschental.
The "Engiadina" is an inviting, small hotel and, amongst other things, is constructed from lots of local timber and adorned with Engadine sgraffito. Bright rooms with beautiful mountain views, a pleasant restaurant and a rustic garden terrace invite guests to linger. The warm ambience, the refined, attentive service and the wide selection of freshly-prepared delicacies (including specialities from the region) as well as the extensive wine list provide for the best of holiday moods.
