Most people only know the valley of the Sihl from the traffic jams there that are reported on the radio nearly every day. Squeezed in between the Albis mountain range and Lake Zurich, it forms a natural bottleneck on the route from Zurich into Central Switzerland.
Besides the well-known train to the Üetliberg, the aerial cableway Adliswil - Felsenegg, south of Zürich, constitutes an additional link to the Albis chain and therefore to Zürich’s very own mountain.
The park “in the green” above Rüschlikon, which lies in picturesque position overlooking the lake of Zurich, is a genuine oasis for fun and relaxation.
