The hiking area of Gstaad - Saanenmöser always has some visual surprises and spectacular views onto mountains galore. The ridge hike from Rellerligrat to the Jaun Pass, via Hundsrügg, is no exception.
The mountain walk from the Jaunpass over the Hundsrügg to the Rellerligrat peak is one of the classic high-altitude routes in the Bernese Oberland, offering both colourful alpine meadows and spectacular views of the surrounding mountains. Your gaze is drawn irresistibly to the chain of peaks including the Gastlosen, the Sattelspitzen, the impressive Wandfluh and the Zuckerspitz.
Since 1922 the oldest guesthouse in Gstaad has been owned by the Widmer family. Individual rooms with much wood, two family rooms, some rooms with a balcony and all with TV, hairdryer and telephone. The attractive Posthotel, originally built in chalet-style, has recently undergone renovation. Further features include two restaurants serving Swiss specialities, homemade delicacies and generous buffet breakfasts.
