High over Simmental passing to the neighbouring valley of Diemtigtal, lies the picturesque Seebergsee. The nature reserve enchants both hikers and the bikers. The high paths open scenic treasures onto the alpine foothills of Berne. The landscape seems almost virtual in this lost area. The trails are not technically difficult, and leave you with both breath and time to look around and enjoy your surroundings.

Panoramic Hike Connects Simmen Valley to Saanenland

Panorama trails – The tour which connects Mt. Rinderberg above Zwiesimmen and Mt. Hornberg near Gstaad is a ridge hike that is a dream come true: it is fairly easy and the hiking trails are very well-kept. The entire hike takes place at about an altitude of 2000 meters. The views are of the impressive peaks, firns and glaciers, as well as flower-bedecked alpine meadows. Ascend by chairlift and take a chairlift again at the end.
