High-mountain hut at 2500-meters, reached via Verbier. Built of stone and wood in 1925, and comprehensively refurbished in 2001, the hut presents a charming stop for a breather on the Chamonix-Zermatt climb. Accessible with a 1.5-hour foot march or by bike in summer and courtesy of cable cars in winter. Open year-round and attended from December until mid May and from the end of June until mid September. 15 rooms with total 58 beds and on-floor showers. Restaurant with local dishes and sun terrace.
