Hotel Krafft Basel

Awarded "Historic Hotel of 2007" for "using means that show care and consideration for building structures, typology and furnishings worth preserving". Opened in 1873, renovated and supplemented with Swiss "Typenmöbel" furniture in 2005.

Directly on the banks of the Rhine in Klein-Basel (Lesser Basel). Comprehensive room renovations respecting the existing building structures were carried out in 2005, supplemented with Swiss-type furniture. In 2008 the 12 renovated rooms with en-suite bathrooms in the annex, complemented with Vitra furniture, were opened. The Krafft cuisine is based on local and seasonal creations, served either in the restaurant overlooking the Rhine or on the terrace.
