The simple block house is located in the midst of the pristine wilderness of the Cluozza Valley, the first valley of the National Park. Located at 1,882 meters, the refuge was built as early as 1910. Renovated in 1993, the Cluozza Hut offers 63 beds in multiple-bed rooms (with Nordic duvets) and in the mattress camp (with woollen blankets). You can book a night with half-board or simply an overnight stay without catering.

Capanna Buffalora

The only hut with a warden in the Calanca Valley is situated at 2,078 meters, near the Buffalora Pass, the passage to the Misox. It offers a spectacular view. The 20 beds are distributed among three rooms. It you arrive at Buffalora after a long hike, you will love to stretch your legs in the evening sunshine on the wonderful porch. From June to October half-board can be booked.

Badus Hut, Lake Toma

The cozy, small house is located at 2,503 meters above Lake Toma, the source of the Rhine. The hut is reached from the Oberalp Pass via Pazolastock or from Maighels in two to three hours. The dormitory has 21 mattresses, in the "Nordic" style. The wardens of the hut prepare a simple meal for guests staying overnight. You can complete the meal with ingredients brought along.
