Breithorn - Looking Down on the World

Marveling at records – The Breithorn (4,164 m.a.s.l.) is ideal for beginners to try their hand at climbing a mountain of more than 4,000 meters. Its snow-capped peak is rather flat and is thus easier to handle than most other mountains. A guide helps one get to the top in about two hours. The tour starts at the mountain station of the Klein Matterhorn (3,883 m.a.s.l.).

Klein Matterhorn. The view is absolutely breath-taking: Mont Blanc, Matterhorn, Dent Blanche, Obergabelhorn, Zinal Rothorn, Weisshorn, Mischabel, and Breithorn bid you welcome with a deep-blues sky and corn snow.
