Olive trail

Culinary activities – A route with views across Lake Lugano, on which a landscape reminiscent of the Mediterranean can be enjoyed. The trail winds between Castagnola and Gandria, passes across the remains of old olive groves and areas on which this prized tree is again being planted. The route is also suitable for the blind and visually impaired – observe the respective signs.

On the 7-kilometer-long "Sentiero dell'olivo" strtetch, 18 information boards bring you closer to the history and scientific nature of olive tree growth and the oil won from olives.

Pilatus, the dragon mountain - Golden Roundtrip

Culinary activities – The steam ship takes you from Lucerne to Alpnachstadt, where the world's steepest cogwheel train conveys you to Pilatus Kulm (2,132 meters a.s.l.). Enjoy the view of the lake, the mountains, and the city of Lucerne. Take a walk through the rock gallery, or hike to the Tomlishorn where you can savor a delicious snack in the restaurant. A spectacular ride by aerial cable car and gondola down to Kriens/Lucerne concludes this tour.
