Saane

The Saane is not one of the very large rivers in Switzerland, but it offers a great variety of experiences and adventure potential. The river, here sometimes called “Rösti ditch”, is the dividing line between the German-speaking and French-speaking parts of Switzerland.

Fondation Beyeler

This is a private collection of outstanding works of contemporary classical art. Due to the museum's modern architecture, which fits well into the environment, and the skillful presentation of the art works, it is considered one of the world's most beautiful collections.

In 1997, with the construction of the museum designed by Renzo Piano, the Fondation Beyeler now had a publicly accessible venue.
