Le Guignol à Roulettes
Enthusiastic igloo lovers come together up on Engstligenalp above Adelboden from 14-16 March 2014 to create a unique village out of ice and snow. Adelboden Tourism, Alpine School Adelboden, the Engstligenalp Mountain Transport and Sherpa Outdoor have joined together once more to organise the third igloo building event of its kind on Engstligenalp. Equipped with shovels and snow saws, the igloo builders set about creating the shelters in which they will spend the night, surrounded by a fascinating mountain panorama. Participants need expertise in the art of igloo building but are supervised in bigger groups by professional instructors. The Igloo Festival 2014 is certain to be a weekend full of positive experiences, with lots of fun and a great atmosphere for all participants. All the necessary equipment is supplied by the organisers, who also ensure everyone stays safe. "Winter-proof" adventurers and creative igloo builders can obtain further information and registration details for this event online at www.adelboden.ch/iglu.
