Swiss Snow Kids Village Wiriehorn

Snowli and his friends will help your children as they are learning. The different practice areas are close to each other and the children are assigned to the one that best meets their needs.

Seeberg Lake

High above the Diemtigtal, at the end of a little side valley and on the way over to the Simmental, is the picturesque Seeberg Lake (1831 m). This nature conservation area attracts both walkers and bikers. A typical mountain lake with cold, clear water, a very popular place for a day out. There are mysterious underground streams flowing in and out of the lake. The nearby mountain hut is manned in summer.

Alpine culture, alpine cheese-making Diemtigtal

The Diemtigtal includes the largest alpine cheese-making area in Switzerland. The tasty mountain cheese is very much in demand. Many farms give visitors the chance to observe the cheese-making, for example the organic alpine dairy on the Schwarzenberg Alp in the Wiriehorn area. Here you can watch the cheese being made while you enjoy a "typical Swiss" brunch.

Stockhorn – and striking Horn

Stockhorn, which has a height of 2,190 meters, is the highest peak of the Stockhorn Range. The mountain consists of a nearly vertical slab of rock, so that it appears either wide or pointed, depending on your perspective.

It’s not hard to pinpoint the distinctive head of rock at the entrance to the Bernese Oberland – but the fact that you can stand pretty much on top to enjoy views direction Thun, Aare Valley and Bern as far as Jura is known to few.
