For more than two hundred and fifty years, the Vallée de Joux has revelled in the success of its watchmaking industry. The watchmaking businesses of today are guardians of this long tradition with the best proof for this being the prestigious brands that have long been established in the Vallée de Joux. There is a collection of antique wall clocks dating back to between the 16th and 19th centuries, an exhibition detailing the history of watchmaking, and the reconstruction of an old watchmaking workshop and many temporary exhibitions.

Espace horloger in Sentier presents current productions by the main watchmaking companies in Joux Valley, the cradle of grande complication watches.
