The Swiss National Museum

Here, culture and public transportation rub shoulders. The National Museum houses Switzerland's most comprehensive collection of artifacts pertaining to its cultural heritage. The over 100-year-old building is reminiscent of a fairytale castle. On 1st August, new permanent exhibitions will open on both floors. The upper floor houses an extensive exhibition relating to Swiss history while a range of collections is on display on the ground floor.

The National Museum houses the largest cultural and historical collection in the country. Behind its over 100-year-old walls, history comes to life as visitors gain an insight into how previous generations lived, thought and felt.

Maison Cailler - Chocolate Factory

As Switzerland's oldest chocolate factory, Cailler has been producing innovative and fine chocolate products since 1819. This state-of-the-art visitor tour at the "Espace Cailler of Switzerland" will guide you through the world of chocolate in a sensual experience using fragrances, sound and images. Of course, you will also have to use your sense of taste!

The visitor trail provides a complete immersion into the brand, history and products of Cailler of Switzerland. The experience is sensitive, sensual and poetic, giving the visitor a window into the world of chocolate by means of a transparent and sparkling aesthetic.

Tinguely Museum

The architect Mario Botta designed the Museum Jean Tinguely. It is devoted to the life and work of this major sculptor in iron.

The Tinguely Museum, located directly on the Rhine, was designed by the Ticino architect Mario Botta and houses the largest collection of works by Jean Tinguely (1925-1991), one of the most innovative and important Swiss artists of the 20th century.

Kunsthaus Zürich

Kunsthaus Zurich, one of the most important art museums of Switzerland, houses Medieval panel pictures, world-famous works of art by Picasso, Monet and Chagall, as well as the largest and most important collection of works by Alberto Giacometti.
