Grand Hotel Giessbach

Waterfalls, mountains and the lake are close enough to touch, and a private boat landing stage and funicular railway add to the nostalgic experience of this journey.

A splendid residence in a unique location: The legendary Grand Hotel combines the charm of the turn of the century before last with modern comfort. The cuisine at the Park restaurant, which overlooks the waterfall is just as exclusive as the view. Elegant banquet rooms and quiet conference rooms, 22 hectares of gardens and parks and a natural swimming pool round off the offerings.

Hôtel Masson

The charming 33-room Hôtel Masson lies in an elevated, panoramic position on the old Simplon road.

The charming 33-room Hôtel Masson lies in an elevated, panoramic position on the old Simplon road. The present building, dating from 1829, was originally a wine grower’s house; now the oldest hotel in Montreux, it lies just minutes both from the town centre and from the famous Château de Chillon.

Albergo Monte Verità

Enthusiastic members of the vegetarian colony discovered the Monte Verità above Ascona at the beginning of the 20th century and saw it as the location for their utopian vision of a different world. Baron von der Heidt developed the building as a cultural centre in 1926.

Well located hotel on the Monte Verità in the Bauhaus style. Founded by idealistic naturalists and vegetarians, it is still a place of encounter, philosophy and ideas today. Extensive renovations have been carried out in 2008. Restaurant serving Mediterranean cuisine, fine dining room and terrace with a gorgeous view.

Café du Petit-Paris

Awarded in 1997 in recognition of the restoration of the old interior décor and the enhancement of the exterior. Marble finishing and neogothic elements lend the ambience an air of authenticity and a clear statement is made of how a thoughtful restoration in accordance with guidelines for the care of historic monuments can make a big impact. One of those who helped our chef hone his skills was Paul Bocuse, one of the twentieth century's top chefs.
