Winterthur

Winterthur is a treasure trove rich in art, history and nature. Switzerland's sixth-biggest city boasts art collections of world renown. Other museums and monuments, a lively old town, an active music and comedy scene, and extensive parks and public gardens give Winterthur, a town small enough to get around conveniently, the air of a big city.

Winterthur is a treasure trove of art, history and nature. The medieval heart of the city is full of life no matter what the time of day. Shops, restaurants, markets and festivals bring the charming Old Town to life and provide a meeting place for locals, visitors and businesspeople alike. Being a city small enough to get around conveniently while also having a big-city atmosphere makes Winterthur a popular destination.

Baden

The small town of Baden is today both an industrial-urban settlement within the wider conurbation of Zurich with modern, city foci, but also a tranquil thermal spa resort and cultural centre – a town of contrasts.

Hôtel Palafitte

Unusual pavilion on piles in Lake Neuchatel - the only luxury hotel in Europe with this feature. All junior suites are almost 70 m2 big.

An architectural masterpiece that is unique in Europe: 40 eye-catching wooden pavilions, partly standing on piles in the lake. This modern 5-star hotel exploits the symbiosis of water and land: each room has its own terrace and some even offer direct access to the lake. Brightly-lit conference rooms. La Table de Palafitte restaurant (with 13 Gault Millau points) was opened in spring 2014 after a complete renovation. Fantastic location right on the shore.
