The hardest alpine ultra marathon of the world.The Swissalpine has become a unique running event with a total of eight races expected to attract over 5,000 participants. The K78 with 79,0 km mountain section and 2,660-metre height difference remains the supreme discipline. Another highlight is the K21 half-marathon, which starts on the landmark of Klosters - the Sunniberg Bridge - and leads along an attractive mountain section from Klosters to the finish in the Davos Sports Centre. A quarter-marathon (K11) has also been created for beginners. The 'Highseven' event week was launched around the marathon event. During this week from 21 to 26 July 2014, participants can expect numerous events to do with running sport.
