Hotels in the mountains – Quite unique: the Hotel Engiadina is a genuine Engadin house dating from the 16th century, in an idyllic location in the ancient centre of the village of Scuol.

Schon in der Frühzeit war die Felseninsel zwischen dem Genfersee und den steil aufragenden Bergen bewohnt. Von hier wurde jahrhundertelang der Schiffsverkehr auf dem Genfersee und der bedeutende Landweg zum St.Bernhard-Pass beherrscht. Vom 12. bis ins 16. Hotel Arkanum

Hotels in the mountains – The hotel was rebuilt ten years ago in the style of the former winery and offers ‘heritage’ rooms based around the themes of wine and the village’s history. Located in the middle of the village, the hotel invites guests on a ‘tour of discovery’ through Salgesch’s wineries and also organises wine seminars in partnership with the Kreuzritter winery. The cuisine is market-fresh and accompanied by a wide selection of fine wines.

The Hotel Arkanum is certainly no ordinary abode. Having been rebuilt in the style of the old winery ten years ago, its rooms are now theme rooms inspired by local viticulture or the history of Salgesch. Situated in the centre of the village, the Arkanum invites guests to set off on a discovery tour of local wineries and together with the Kreuzritter Kellerei organizes wine seminars. The food served in the restaurant is made only with fresh produce and naturally is accompanied by some of the area's best wines.
