Respecting the environment – Stade de Suisse: The world's largest stadium-integrated solar power plant on the roof of the STADE DE SUISSE Wankdorf Bern has been completed and put into operation. As a multifunctional arena for sports and cultural events and a venue for national and international meetings, this national stadium is set to gain importance far beyond athletics.

Schon in der Frühzeit war die Felseninsel zwischen dem Genfersee und den steil aufragenden Bergen bewohnt.
