The Lombach Alp is one of Switzerland's largest, most impressive areas of moorland. Shuttle bus from Habkern in high summer and winter; cross-country skiing and snow-shoe walking in winter.

Lombachalp Information Centre

The Lombachalp area is a popular place for hikes and excursions in fascinating scenery. At the "Lägerstutz" stop (Roteschwand, 1559 m) there is a little information stand, and in summer even a ranger who will give you any information you need. This is an ideal starting point for going exploring, nearby or farther away, or even climbing the Augstmatthorn (2137 m).
