The family-friendly hostel on the shores of Zurich’s lake is just a few minutes away from the station on foot. Housed in a historic building dating back as far as 1841, the edifice was transformed into a modern hostel around 20 years ago. The hostel comprises 27 rooms with 2 to 4 beds, seminar infrastructure, cosy garden restaurant beneath chestnut trees in summer and children’s playground in an extensive park area. The hostel building is wheelchair accessible.
The historical 17th century customs house on the river has with steel, glass and cement, been transformed into a modern youth hostel inside ancient walls. 94 beds, diverse recreation areas, Old Town inner courtyard, billiard table on the top floor and a professional seminar room form parts of the new hostel. In part, a natural bio cuisine is served here. The hostel lies centrally, directly on the Aare cycling path at the heart of the Old Town with great cultural and culinary offers.

Large terrace, grill place, children’s playground and table tennis –along with television and reading room plus children-friendly recreation room. The Steiner beach facility invites one for a swim in the Rhine and small historical towns to an interesting sightseeing stroll. 21 rooms with total 92 beds, breakfast buffet & 3-course evening meals.
