Bacchus is a typical wine bar amid the vineyards. Walkers enjoy being able to taste the local wine or try one of the specialities. The Bacchus Vinobar can also be hired for parties, weddings etc.
Pub-restaurant zum Hirzen
This traditional pub-restaurant still bears the same name as 300 years ago. Where possible, all the processed produce as well as raw foodstuffs are purchased in Switzerland. In addition to the classics, the menu also always has seasonal dishes on offer. In 2005, the Restaurant zum Hirze was accepted as a guild restaurant of the Swiss Guild of Established Cooks.
Restaurant "La Gare"
Fresh fish from Lake Geneva, foie gras and local wines are among the specialities of this fine restaurant. The "La Gare" makes a point of using local produce. Non-smoking.
The family-run hotel/restaurant offers spacious rooms with shower/WC and a cosy restaurant featuring a stone-pine-clad dining area and regional specialities. Situated in the immediate vicinity is the Convent of St. John which was constructed in the 8th century and has secured UNESCO World Heritage listing on account of its Carolingian murals.
