Hotel St. Joseph

Wholesome, fresh hot food served all day, with local game specialities from huntsmen in the Thal area available from October to December. Four double rooms and one room for 4 people. Lounge and function room for group events, large garden bar area with children's playground and play corner. Gänsbrunnen is on the trans-Jura railway line from Solothurn – Moutier.

Wiwannihütte

This hut at 2470 m has room for 28 people and is an ideal starting point for walks, hiking and climbing tours. It also offers special adventures such as donkey trekking or climbing with yoga. The Wiwannihütte is manned from June to October. Travel by train to Ausserberg, from there it's a four-hour climb to the hut or there's a taxi service by all-terrain bus.
