Following the Doubs: The Swiss Water Trail

France to one side and Switzerland to the other, with a river running through the middle: The Doubs. Its long, ruggedly picturesque valley is virtually uninhabited and being a nature reserve it is even more of a paradise for fishermen and hikers. The riverside path between Soubey and St. Ursanne opens up a truly original part of Switzerland. Through almost untouched riverscape, it runs past fish taverns and swimming areas.

15 kilometres of meditative hiking pleasure and one of Switzerland's most beautiful "water trails" run between Soubey and St-Ursanne.

Grächen - St. Niklaus

Grächen – a fairytale. The mountain village is situated on a broad sun terrace, high above the Zermatt valley, at an altitude of 1,620 m. It extends a particularly warm welcome to families, and offers a lively programme that contrasts with the neighbouring resort of Zermatt. In Grächen, the children are magically turned into princes and princesses, while the parents can relax in regal style.
