The Regional Vaudois Jura Nature Park extends from the summit of La Dôle to the medieval monastic town of Romainmôtier. To the north, the Joux Valley (Vallée de Joux) is situated at 1000 meters. To the south, the park is spread over the forested slopes of the Jura up to the vineyards of Lake Geneva.
The river Doubs lends its name to Doubs Nature Park. Forty kilometers long, the river forms the border of the French Departement bearing the same name. To the south, the Freiberg Mountains with their typical forest and meadow landscape are part of the 380-square-meter Nature Park.
