Try your hand at hotelkeeping

Culinary activities – Mr. Mueller wants another room, Mrs. Meier finds a hair in her soup, and little Fritz locks himself in the bathroom: it's not always easy to manage a hotel. If you want to give it a try, you can do so at the Panoramahotel Alphubel together with friends, your club or on your own. You will never feel as if you have been left to your own devices, though - the hotelier couple will be at your side, giving you advice and helping out, in order to avert a total catastrophe...

Bergland Produkte

Culinary activities – 'Bergland Produkte' is a farm and 'life' community comprising six adults and five children. We operate an organically-based agri-tourism farm in picturesque Ernen, at 1,200 metres above sea level. Predominantly older breeds of domestic animal threatened with extinction such as Hinterwald cattle, old Valais country sheep and woolly pigs (Mangalitza) live on our farm.

Fondue trail Schönried

Culinary activities – you buy a packet of fondue mix, pick up a rucksack packed with all the other things you need such as the caquelon or fondue pan, burner and bread and set off on the path to "haute" cuisine.

The Fondue Trail offers walkers and gourmets the combination of an open-air fondue party and a scenic walk with culinary highs. First you collect the fondue rucksack with everything you need from the Schönrieder dairy. Then off you go up to the Rellerli or the Horneggli, and at the end of your panoramic walk you can have your fondue in the open air. You can hand the rucksack back at the bottom station of the lift or at the hotel (and the dairy does the washing up!).
