If you book in advance, you can enjoy a raclette meal at the dairy.

The Turtmann Valley is the westernmost Valaisian valley where German is spoken. There are many didactic trails that inform hikers on all sorts of subjects, ranging from spooky myths to cultural history.

The valley between the Turtmann Glacier in the south and the Rhone in the north is as rewarding for hikers as it is for lovers of blood-curdling legends, cultural history and natural diversity. It is the westernmost German-speaking southern Valaisian valley and, from its start at 3,000m next to the glacier down to the valley floor at 678m, reflects the world of the Upper Valais with all of its characteristics.
