Forum Schlossplatz - First Federal Parliament building of Switzerland

City Museums – The Forum Schlossplatz is a cultural institution that allows various categories to enter into a dialogue with each other . There are three or four thematic exhibitions each year on cultural issues of the present, future and past, accompanied by events and guided tours.

The Aargau Kunsthaus

Art museums – The Aargau Kunsthaus (Art Museum) has one of the finest and most comprehensive public collections of Swiss art from the 18th century to the present. The Kunsthaus has several temporary exhibitions each year, primarily devoted to contemporary art in Switzerland and abroad. The building was extended in 2003 by the Swiss architectural firm Herzog & de Meuron.
