You have barely walked half an hour before finding yourself in the middle of spectacular Jura scenery. Nothing breaks the silence from all directions. Higher up, the scene changes. The vegetation round the mighty domed peak of La Dôle is almost alpine, with buttercups and wild gentians as far as the eye can see.
