Necki is a legendary character inhabiting the Necker Valley. The Mogelsberger Necki frolics in Wilket; Petri of St. Peterzell swims in the Necker River, but Hemberger Hucky gambols in "Salomon's Tempel," a high moorland. Bobo of Brunnadern has his abode in the ancient Choltobel, and Tibby resides in the ruin of Neutoggenburg near Oberhelfenschwil.

On the high plateau of Rietbach above Krummenaus beautiful high moorlands with soft peat ground that puts a spring in your step and a very special flora awaits your visit! The hiking circuit through the high moorland is a national treasure. The hikes are 9 km or 13 km long and last 2 1/2 hours or 3 1/2 hours, respectively.
