St. Antönien, the Walser village in Prättigau is at the very end of a valley basin that is embraced by the white flanks of Sulzfluh, Wiss Platte und Schijenfluh. An exciting and challenging hike takes you via Partnunstafel, the dreamy Lake Partnun and Tilisunafürggli across the border to Austria, around the Schijenfluh and back to Partnunstafel.
A good companion for this didactic circular hiking trail, is a brochure containing detailed information on fauna, flora and history of the region. It gives the hiker directions for hiking from Partnun to the Tilisuna hut (in Austria) and back.
The first fixed rope route in Graubünden was created in 2005 at the back of the valley of St. Antönien at the southern wall of the Sulzfluh. The alpine route offers a lot of contact with rock and requires one to be quite fit.
