Visit to the Alpenbitter works

During this guided tour you will not only learn about the secrets of the herb chamber but also all about how they malke what is undoubtedly the most famous Appenzeller. The free tour lasts approx. 1½ hours and includes tasting. Public guided tours are held from April to October, every Wednesday at 10.00 hrs. However, you can visit the works all year round by prior registration.
