Visit to the winery Rimuss- und Weinkellerei Rahm AG

At the start you will see the 15-minute film “From the vine to the golden drop” which depicts the region and viticulture of Blauburgunder Land around the city of Schaffhausen. On the subsequent walk you will see the wine presses, the cellar, the bottling plant and the storage hall while the facilities are in operation or idle, depending on the season and time of day. You will witness how wine and grape juice are pressed and bottled. The highlight of the tour is the tasting of various wines and/or grape juice specialties.

The enterprise, which is managed by the third generation of the owner’s family, is also engaged in the long-term marketing of wine specialties. This includes eco-friendly and biological viticulture in the owner’s vineyards and in those of over 200 suppliers of grapes, as well as careful pressing of the grapes.
