Regional hot dishes or cold platters of the highest quality, served very simply. Fondue, home-cooked macaroni chalet-style, soup chalet-style, assiette fribourgeoise (ham, bacon, sausages, cheese, green beans,potatoes gratins), "rösti", desserts etc.

Located at the foot of the magnificent Gastlosen range, the Chalet de Soldat offers a superb view of the highest peaks in Fribourg. Lama trips (reservation required) and very special New Year's Eve. Open very weekend throughout the winter, from Fridays at 17:00 to Sundays at 16:00.
